  10. Lmao I was manually syncing up the out-of-sync audio for like a two hour debate, and every 5 mins I would have to resync it. It realized, this is an absurd waste of time, there HAS to be a better way, and sure enough, there was! Thanks so much for the helpful tutorial!

  12. Thanks for your video. Problem is- I just followed all these steps and after encoding, and clicking on the video I had absolutely no audio.

  13. Thank you! I tried recording ten takes using a cell phone screen recording app while trying to use sticks to sync to audio recorded into a real mic/mixer. Changed from VBR to CBR and everything was perfect!

  14. Not sure how to fix this with Final Cut Pro, I’m editing a 40 min video. Everything was fine then all of a sudden the audio started to drift.

  21. Hi, may I know what is the standard fps and khz for video and audio so it will sync properly? Recently I edited a video that my friends recorded separately from their homes, and when editing, I noticed one of my friend’s video won’t sync to the audio because of the different fps, can you or anybody else help me solve this plase

  25. It won't fix my problem. I genuinely tried this for a couple of hours, but the problem was the same. The audioo was ahead of the video.

Hi I am not sure if you are online or still doing videos but can the hand break app work on an iPhone or do I need to use it on a P.C.?

  28. Thank you so much this was so helpful for a few videos I have been struggling with, but I have 1 that I'm still struggling with. Do you guys have a forum or website where your community can talk about and break down the details of these fixes?

  29. WOW I'm so happy to have found your channel! High quality and so informative and (crucially) clear – a rare find in the hunt for great YT editing SOS tutorials. I was initially skeptical when I saw the length of this vid but as soon as it started I was hooked in and really can't thank you enough for such cogency & useful info 😀

My videos plays in sync on my phone after i edited(edited on my phone) them but then after i upload it on Facebook the audio goes out sync with the video, it starts fine but it goes out of sync towards the end of the videos, what could be the cause of that?
    Thanks

  32. We need to make clear how editing software determines where a frame begins and ends within the recording. Editing software will not notice or deal with variiable bitrate where there are more or less bits for each frame. However, why doesn't the editing s/w know where each frame is within the recording?

  33. I'm actually missing audio over the course of the screen capture. I can't seem to synch it through HandBrake. My vid is over 8 mins long. Is length a factor? what are some other variables I need to keep in mind?

  34. Simply BRILLIANT… I spent hours trying to fix the problem. You helped me in 10mn… Thank you.

  35. Extremely helpful!!! Thank you!!!

ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM (obviously) = Why the fuck are Editing Programs NOT adding an auto Conversion OR even a hint at Clicking a bloody Constant Framerate button to Convert the bloody clip!!! FFS this is just a bloody joke!

  38. "Handbrake" — not Handbreak free at handbrake.fr

  39. Very well explained. Thank you so much!!

  40. why am I the only person who looses all sound when I follow this?

  41. when I do this the sound goes completley?

  42. Been trying to figure this out for hours. Thanks, this video was super helpful!

  43. ANCARS says:

Can I use the 60 fps in the handbrake settings?

  44. szapizsoli says:

Amazing and well-explained step by step tutorial! However, I have a question. Does this apply when the audio is recorded seperately along the video? I usually use Audacity to record my microphone audio, as I record gaming videos mostly and I want to avoid the game audio being too loud. Thank you for your help in advance.

  45. YESSSS!!! OMG this worked perfectly after 5 hours of trying to figure out wtf was going on with this audio drift! Thank you so much for sharing!
